With just 3 ingredients, this is a super quick and easy, rewarding and traditional recipe!
This is one recipe it’s important to use the Masa Harina corn flour. Before you think twice about making them, we found the organic flour in our local IGA. So it’s probably easier than you might think to find!
Masa is the Spanish word for dough and the traditional dough used to make corn tortillas. It’s made with dried corn kernels, cooked and soaked in limewater, then ground into masa – masa harina (dough flour) is flour made from dried masa. We had heaps of fun making these, helped along with my hubby disappearing to the shed for an hour or so to make the press! Of course, it’s not necessary, but lots of fun for the kids, big and little.
