DIY Ginger Shot

With winter bugs a plenty try adding this warming remedy into your routine. As a daily preventative, it’s guaranteed to help keep the bugs at bay.
Quick & easy it’ll boost imunity, ease cold & flu symptoms, improve digestion, ease inflammation, respiratory issues, release mucus, boost metabolism and so much more.
Preparation: 5 minutes
Quantity: approx. 1 cup
Ingredients:
- 2 knobs approx. 100g organic ginger
- 1 cup water
- approx. 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp unfiltered apple cider vinegar
- 1 – 2 Tbsp raw unfiltered honey
Directions:
- Wash, chop & place ginger with the water into a blender, blend until well combined
- Strain the ginger ‘pulp’ to leave approx. a cup of ginger juic
- Add remaining ingredients to the ‘juice’ & blend until well combined
- 5 mins later, enjoy your immune boosting, alkalising ginger shot!
- Store in the fridge & enjoy approx. 1 Tbsp before a meal, preferably in the am straight or with warm water & if you need add a dash more honey.
Notes:
- Add a dash of black pepper + tumeric and / or garlic for an extra boost!
