You’ll put some zing in your spring with this Smoothie. Coriander (and other greens) are jumping out of the ground. Then in contrast to the vitality of greens the medicinal roots and bulbs i.e. garlic, ginger and turmeric are also abundantly available. At the same time our immune systems can become overwhelmed with the pathogens that are also in full swing. Nature is wonderful at providing us with the foods we need at the right time. This recipe is my smoothie of the moment. It supports our immune and detox systems and is wonderfully medicinal. I add in herbs to help with healing the gut at the same time e.g. liquorice and slippery elm – just add what you have available and your body needs.
